I have finished student teaching, walked across the stage, and have applied for numerous teaching jobs...errrr careers (I have made it a point to use the word "career" since I do have a degree, I have worked at a "job" for the past 8 and half years, now its time for a "career")
I did interview with a local daycare for a full time preschool teaching position, I am going to decline the next process of the interview. I decided that it would not be the best option for me right now. I wanted more of a summer "job", this would continue into the fall which would not let me be substitute teacher.
I have also applied at another library for a back up plan, this would allow me to have a "job" while subbing in the fall since I have to leave the current library in August. That's just a waiting game.....
I have plans for the summer to be a private tutor for a few kiddos, which I am really looking forward to!! I so far have 3 kiddos scheduled!! I will still be at the library until August..
I have had the opportunity to go back and help out with kindergartners at least once a week which is GREAT! I miss seeing them every day and being in such a wonderful, caring and loving environment.
Now its just a wait and see plan.....
